Food was delicious! Services was friendly and fast Unfortunately I didn't take any pics, but we all enjoyed our breakfast Good coffee Pancakes were good (and the serving was plentiful) Kids had silver dollar pancakes with sausage patty on the side (1 order would have been enough for the two kids!) I got French toast and bacon. Bacon was crispy and the French toast was very good! Overall I would recommend!
Miss Monticello Diner has been a work highlight when in need of a lunch. My go to has always been the veggie breakfast burrito. The food is fairly priced, parking is plentiful, and I always have leftovers (but in the good way!). The staff has been accommodating and with a gf allergy they offer gf bread and wraps. Everything about Miss Monticello Diner is convenient and delicious.
We called in to do a pick up order. We were very happy with our order. It is definitely an older building inside and out, but it is very well kept. It has the classic diner vibe. I had called in to order a plate of spaghetti with marinara sauce. It also came with a cup of beef barley soup. The soup was for my partner, and she loved it. She said it was nice and thick, plenty of meat, and lots of. Flavor. There was plenty of barley, and it was at just the right texture. The cup of soup alone was enough for one meal for her... The plate of spaghetti was massive! I wish I would've gotten a picture. The pasta was perfectly al dente. There was a very good amount of delicious sauce, they gave us lots of grated Parmesan to put on top, and there was so much, each of us got two servings out of of it. That's a lot of food for a little price. We were very happy. We will order from here again. Thank you. UPDATE: we enjoyed the spaghetti so much, we decided to order from here again. My partner ordered a bowl of the mac & cheese, and I went a little bit further. I ordered the crabcake Mac and cheese. I've had lobster mac & cheese, but crab cake? I decided to give it a try. It's on the menu, so it must be good. My Dish also came with a cup of matzo ball soup. The broth was delicious, and. The matzo ball was light and fluffy. It was a floater, not a sinker. If not done right, matzo balls can be real "belly bombs" this was the farthest from that that it could've possibly been. We both liked our mac & cheese very much. It was rich, creamy, and cheesy. For me, the crabcakes actually went very well with the mac & cheese. They played very well together .. For upstate Catskill diner crabcakes? These are among the better crabcakes that I have ever had. You could definitely taste the crab. They were large, rich, and delicious. My partner is a light eater, but she polished off all of her mac & cheese. Mine I saved half of my dish for midnight snack. I love diners!! This place is cute small place that has great portions for a decent price. The staff is nice. Very accommodating & patient with my autistic son who was learning to order his own food. It's short drive from Kartrite water park. This place is the type of setting you see in movies & tv shows of a small town food place.
